What did I learn tonight at Service.

I learned many things. Lets see..

I learned that I am not a sinner. Its unbelievable, I lived in this mentality that I will always be a sinner. When in fact, I’m not. Christ came so that we can be new. We are born again, meaning that there is no sin in us and that we dont live under the law anymore.

If the Jews couldnt live by the law, what makes you think you can! Who are you! (:

We forget the the true meaning of Romans 8:1. I forget the true meaning of that scripture.

What else did I learn?
Oh yes! That my Father is all things to me. But I just have to let him be.

Also,
If I’m asking God for something, but my hands are closed and wont let go of what is in my hands, how is He going to fill my hands? How is he going to bless me?

My mind was so stuck on that. Think about it for a second.
What do you have a strong hold of? That you think you have “control” over? Imagine it in your hand, your grasp. Now, what are you asking the Lord for? Financial blessing? Deliverance? A mending heart?

Your Father in Heaven wants to bless you, wants to meet your needs, but how can he put his perfect favor in your grasp if its already filled?

Its a matter of surrendering absolutely everything.
That whole subject hit home run for me. I have to live in complete surrender to receive what the Lord has for me. :)

Jesus is faithful.

Oh..
And I also learned that Matthew is a Math nerd. (:
